qEEG Brain Mapping Therapy in Denver Colorado

Understand how your brain is functioning with qEEG Brain Mapping

Mental Health Care & Brain Mapping in Denver that You Can Trust

We offer brain mapping, counseling and neurofeedback technology locally in Denver.

What is a Brain Mapping Therapy?

A Brain Map, or QEEG, reads baseline electrical activity on the surface of your skull. The data is processed and reviewed with you by your clinician. The patterns learned from a brain map show symptoms associated with diagnoses such as anxiety, depression, OCD and more.

Why do I need a brain map?

Sometimes specific neurological pathways overperform or underperform, which leads to undesirable mental health concerns. With quality care driven by brain mapping in Denver, you can better understand and identify the locations and nature of these imbalances, and we can also more accurately advise effective treatment plans through counseling and neurofeedback.

The brain map shows your clinician where they can help to alleviate symptoms of many neurological disorders, ranging from anxiety and depression to more serious mental health disorders like TBI and concussions, through a customized neurofeedback program.

We are excited and confident in our ability to provide modern and ethical options for your mental health driven by data from QEEGs to help you better understand your brain and behaviors.

What happens after my brain map?

We believe in a specialized, scientifically-backed approach to mental health based on your brain's unique patterns. Your clinician will review your data with you and at that time inform you of your options for talk therapy, neurofeedback or a combination of the two.

Our counseling style offers clients the ability to complete talk therapy sessions with the comfort of understanding your brain's unique patterns and how they may show in behavior. Understanding your brain — one of the most complex organs in the body — and how life events have affected your cognitive functioning, is a process that is unique to Connected Brain Counseling.

Relationships: What Makes Us Different

We believe in the power of human connection, authenticity, and empirically-based practice. While some mental health clinics operate on a large scale, we understand the importance of one-on-one connection and consistency, which informs our brain mapping, neurofeedback and counseling.

Research shows that building rapport is one of the most important factors to consider in the therapeutic relationship (Arbidto & Rabellino, 2011). Your QEEG, experience in counseling and neurofeedback are no exception. You can expect to work closely with one therapist who knows you well and tracks your progress weekly.
